As purchaser, you register your name and your tool online within 4 weeks from the date ofpurchase. Please register personally on the Internet at warranty.fein.com.

1. Create a user account.

First, fill in the online registration form and create a user account with a user name and apassword.With this information you can log in on the FEIN PLUS warranty start page as often as you want to registeryour new tools.

2. Registering new products.

To register the tools, click on the 'Register Products' link and fill in the form.

3. Print the warranty certificate.

Print the warranty certificate, which is created automatically, from the 'View RegisteredProducts' page (link: Display warranty certificate). Keep this print-out safe with the purchase receipt. Bothextend the guarantee to three years and must be presented if there are any claims.

If you need to claim against the warranty, send in the printed warranty certificate and the receipt along withthe defective device.
Note: without the warranty certificate, you are still covered by the normal warranty period (two years fordomestic users and 1 year for trade users).

To register your tools you need the 11-digit serial number (without the dot or the hypen) and date ofpurchase.
The serial number is on the power rating plate of your FEIN tool (outlined in red in the illustration).
The following fields are mandatory: device type (please specify 'Other device'), serial number (without the dotor the hyphen), purchase date and warranty declaration.

To register your HandyMaster, you need the 4-digit serial number and the 11-digit order number (no spaces) andthe date of purchase.The serial number is on the power rating plate of your FEIN HandyMaster (outlined in red in the illustrationbelow). The order number is on a label on the case (outlined in blue in the illustration below), as is the model(outlined in green in the illustration below).
The following fields are mandatory: device type (please specify 'Dustex II/HandyMaster/magnetic drill jig'),serial number (without spaces), purchase date, order number and warranty declaration.

In the 'Model' field, please enter the description from the power rating plate or the label on the HandyMastercase (outlined in green in the illustration).

Enter the words 'Magnetic drill jig' in the 'Model' field.
How to register your FEIN tool if the system does not recognise the serial number
To register your tool you need the 11-digit serial number without the spaces (outlined in red in theillustration below) and the 11-digit order number (outlined in blue in the illustration below). You will findthem on the label on the packaging.
The following fields are mandatory: Device type ( please specify 'Dustex II/ HandyMaster/magnetic drill jig'),serial number (no spaces), purchase date, order number (no spaces), warranty declaration
In the 'Model' field, please enter the number from the power rating plate (e.g. WSB 25-230 x).
